The RNOH are continuing their research and are currently undertaking more research into Maffucci Syndrome and Ollier's Disease. Our input is key to the success of this research now and for any future research.
Fundraising is so important to the research at the RNOH, with the interest in the conditions and the support, this research will continue and develop further.
You can organise your own fundraising activity to support and continue this research through Red Robin Trust and you can request all monies raised be specifically directed to Maffucci Syndrome and Olliers Disease Research.
Through members of the www.maffucciandolliers.co.uk website so far an overwhelming £3745.65p (£4,410.40p with Gift Aid) has been sent into continuing research into Maffucci Syndrome and Ollier’s Disease at the RNOH.
They are pursuing research on cartilage disease which is a major component of Ollier disease and Maffucci syndrome,
and at present (2013) they are doing a number of different studies. Read more.
